It's HOT here in Texas

It is 100 degrees here in Dallas, Texas. Very uncomfortable you won't want to do anything. Even going to the pool can be unpleasant. This is our 5th summer in Texas, and every August - we keep talking about moving, maybe somewhere cooler with milder summer. Maybe next year, we will.

A little bit about myself - I'm a Singaporean - born and raised in the wonderful country of Singapore. Now, I'm living in Texas though. Texas, and the US in general have been very good to us. I just love the people in the States - everyone is so nice and very friendly. I still miss Singapore though, especially the food!!

I live in Texas with my husband and two girls and work full time at home in my little office. Yes, everyone complains about commuting in Dallas, but I think it takes me about hmm.... 5 minutes to get to work - that includes the stopover for coffee in the kitchen.

My family is the most important thing to me and I spend a lot of time with my two girls. In fact, I'm actually their chauffeur as well.
My little one - pictured here is in all star cheerleading - and you can imagine how busy she is. My older daughter is going to be a junior in high school - and she's turning up to be a very nice young lady indeed.

Ok, counting down to start of school - 19 more days.... I'll do the happy dance then.
